What reviewers say

Reviewers called it the most advanced handheld of its time, praising its graphics, sharp OLED touchscreen, twin analogue sticks and strong launch line-up, which Engadget found ahead of the 3DS. Engadget criticised its short battery life, and CNET warned of the hidden cost of Sony's proprietary memory cards, needed on top of the console's price.
