What reviewers say

Ken Rockwell and Derrick Story find sharp images, quick accurate autofocus and useful stabilisation in a light, affordable lens. Both note its plastic mount and rotating front barrel. Story particularly enjoys close-up use, including with an extension tube, but regards f/5.6 as limiting for indoor action. Rockwell finds the manual-focus switching less convenient and highlights the lack of instant override.
