What reviewers say

Reviewers praise sharpness across the frame, fast quiet autofocus, smooth manual focusing and compact construction. Both find little distortion or colour fringing, but visible vignetting at f/2.8 and diffraction at small apertures. Photozone strongly recommends it; The Digital Picture prefers longer macro lenses for insects because of the short working distance, while recommending it for products and portraits.
