What reviewers say

Both praise the compact build, quiet autofocus and control of fringing, flare and distortion. Their wide-open sharpness findings differ. Digital Camera World finds very good results at f/1.8, while ePHOTOzine finds softness that improves from f/2.8. Digital Camera World also notes heavy shading at f/1.8. ePHOTOzine finds smooth background blur and easy manual adjustment, but reports more difficult autofocus in very dark conditions.
