What reviewers say

Both find strong central sharpness at f/1.4, weaker wide-open edges and improved performance across the frame when stopped down. They also praise construction and autofocus. ePHOTOzine reports pronounced wide-open corner shading and strong resistance to flare on the D600. Cameralabs finds longitudinal colour fringing and veiling glare under demanding lighting on the D300 and D700, so the flare findings depend on the test conditions.
