What reviewers say

Both praise its light construction, quick autofocus and strong central sharpness for the price. They find weaker full-frame edges and corners, noticeable shading at f/2.8 and flare with bright light in the frame. Both regard its narrower wide-angle coverage and basic controls as compromises compared with Nikon's S zooms.
