iPhone 8

Released September 2017

The iPhone 8 is Apple's 4.7-inch iPhone from 2017, adding a glass back with Qi wireless charging, the A11 Bionic chip, a True Tone display and fast charging to the iPhone 7 design, suited to people who want a small iPhone with a Home button and are comparing it with newer models.

What reviewers say

Reviewers agree the iPhone 8 is very fast, with a good camera and welcome wireless charging, but a modest upgrade over the iPhone 7. All three criticise the dated, bezel-heavy design and battery life that barely lasts a day; CNET also missed the headphone jack and a dual camera.
