Reviewers agree the 408 is a stylish, well-priced left-field choice with a high-quality interior, a big boot and a quiet, comfortable ride at speed. The ride can thud over bumps at low speeds, especially in the plug-in hybrid; What Car? found the infotainment clunky, and Auto Express noted the small steering wheel can hide the instruments.
