What reviewers say

Both praise sharpness, background blur and construction, while noting the size of this fast 28 mm lens. ePHOTOzine finds excellent sharpness across the frame and very little fringing on the D810, although autofocus could be faster. Phillip Reeve's tests on Nikon and adapted Sony bodies also find strong sharpness and pleasing blur, but identify more colour fringing and wide-open shading. Both find good flare control; Phillip Reeve notes some veiling flare in demanding conditions and slightly softer corners at wide apertures on the Nikon Zf.
