What reviewers say

Both praise its sharpness, fast and quiet autofocus, robust construction and customisable controls, while noting its high price. Photography Blog finds attractive background blur and very little colour fringing, but considers its size and weight better suited to specific assignments than everyday carrying. It sees shading most clearly at 200mm on plain backgrounds. Digital Camera World finds strong sharpness across the frame, with a slight corner reduction at the longest settings. Its tests achieve five stops of stabilisation, and it notes that low distortion benefits from automatic corrections. Both recommend it for demanding portraits, sports, wildlife and events.
