What reviewers say

Reviewers found capable 1080p performance but little improvement over the RX 470 and weaker efficiency than contemporary GeForce cards. PCWorld tested Gigabyte Aorus, Les Numériques MSI Gaming X, and PCGamesN Sapphire Nitro+, all with 4 GB and partner-specific cooling. PCGamesN's 2019 reassessment praises reduced-price value; the launch reviews were less enthusiastic about the refresh.

Architecture
Fourth-generation GCN (Polaris), 128 texture units, 32 ROPs and 5.7 billion transistors. AMD's retained support page is labelled RX 570 (OEM) and includes slower OEM clocks; the original retail baseline and both named MSI ARMOR configurations use the published maximum 1,244 MHz. No dedicated hardware ray accelerators
Base clock
AMD publishes a 926–1,168 MHz OEM range; the original retail baseline is 1,168 MHz (PCWorld). Both named MSI ARMOR boards publish up to 1,244 MHz core frequency without a separate base figure.

Memory detail
MSI ARMOR 4G and 8G both specify 7,000 MHz effective GDDR5. AMD publishes up to 224 GB/s for the GPU, but MSI does not state bandwidth separately for either capacity; the 8 GB configuration therefore omits it.
